If you go, make sure you go for the ladyboys, the shopping or the foot massages, not for the atmosphere, the cultural exchange (except for the awesome palaces), or the smiling natives. And by all means, tip freely or you'll get the kind of rank service that my non-tipping Korean wife and I received.
